Verbeto makes a reader for Brazilian Portuguese, and the blog also writes about other apps and courses. This is how we keep that fair.
We make one of the apps
Verbeto is our product. Every review and comparison that mentions it says so at the top, and it is described with its limits and trade-offs, like the others.
Who writes
Articles are written and edited by Samuel Virgo, Verbeto's founder, who studied languages at university, worked as a language teacher, and is learning Brazilian Portuguese himself.
Where the facts come from
Features, plans and limits come from each app's own website and help pages. Claims about how people learn come from research and independent sources, linked in the text where we rely on them.
Prices
Prices and free plans are checked on each provider's own page when an article is written or updated. They change often, so check the provider's site before you pay.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will check it and update the article.
